SUMMARY
This position requires understanding business needs and translating them effectively into applications either singly or as a member of a team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
.Responsible for the development and management of database and web-based applications.
.Create prototypes and screen demonstrations under aggressive deadlines.
.Stay abreast of current technology advances and apply them, if appropriate, to ongoing development.
.Manage workflow and work quality.
.Provide regular status reports to managers.
.Schedule and prioritize bug fixes and application enhancements.
.Create documentation for end users.
.Develop within a formal process, i.e., the use of project lifecycle methodologies.
.Responsible for maintenance and feature set of existing code base.
