TITLE: ACTIV/IT Technician
DEPARTMENT: Technology
REPORTS TO: IT and On-Line Accounts Manager
STATUS: Full-Time
HOURS: 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. Includes some weekends and travel.
JOB SUMMARY: The ACTIV Technician is responsible for making sure that all ACTIV equipment orders
are processed accurately and in a timely manner. He also serves as main tech support contact and works with the Sales dept to configure equipment properly or find the right equipment necessary for an event. As an IT specialist he is responsible for maintenance of office systems and IT work as necessary.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setup and Configuration of ACTIV Equipment
Setup and configure MK1100 units
Setup and configure PA963 units
Setup and configure Ticket Terminals
Maintaining Deployed ACTIV Equipment
Support Customer database
Schedule Tech Support Service Calls
Manage all RMA jobs.
Submit supply and equipment requests for fulfillment of orders to IT Manager for purchase.
On-call technical support for all ACTIV problems.
Coordinate with customer all event set up ( make sure proper equipment is arranged etc)
Modify artwork as necessary for ticket terminals.
Ensure that all shipments meet delivery deadlines
Follow-up on all rental equipment returns
Provide shipping quote to sales department
Update ACTIV bug tracker
IT Specialist Duties
Maintenance of Domain Controller, fileserver and related servers.
Main office technical support.
Set up new employees, office moves and terminations.
Documentation and asset management for systems.
Light database maintenance
