Software Developer has the following duties:
* Develops, codes, test, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software as part of a software product
* Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them
* Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
* Participates in the design, development and maintenance of software code for business applications
* Contribute to full life-cycle application development including user requirements, specifications, design, coding, testing, documentation, etc.
* Contribute to system documentation for systems, applications and databases
* Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written, designed, coded, tested and debugged
* Consult with users and develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation
* May lead small projects or regularly coach other team members to ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices
* Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions
* Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels
