Minimum Requirements: - B.S. in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related degree with 2 years of experience.- Certified Permitting Professional with the South Coast Air Quality Management District.- This position is part of a project team at a client site in Los Angeles county, which is industrial in nature.- Must have strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Must be able to prepare written technical reports and present findings to clients and work associates.

Job Description:
URS is looking for a motivated, team:oriented individual to be part of our expanding Environmental Compliance Division as an Air Quality Compliance Specialist. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience related to air quality permitting in California, air emissions inventories, and air toxics modeling. In addition, the candidate should have excellent communications skills; analytical and problem solving skills; and the ability to read and decipher State and Federal regulations, and be able to summarize and explain such regulations to clients and work associates. Must have the ability mathematics, research, gather and organize data from multiple sources.
